Since the dawn of the USA, families have been a bedrock of the country. Such values were unnegotiable for the longest and would deem practically immoral if one didn’t grow up, get married, and started a family.

Divorce was very rare at America’s beginning but increase slowly over the next two hundred years.

The collateral damage of the increase of divorces has led to low birth rate the past twenty years.

The downside of putting off marriage is basically putting off births.

People are more socially freer than they have ever been during American history. Marketing is half the time about having fun out with friends or having fun as a single parent.

The good times are rolling with less thought of diaper changes, ER visits in the middle of the night because of crying from a cozy crib, or a fall leading to a bump that may require a quick scat to the doctor’s office.

The stability of such freedom leads to more money in the bank? Another mouth to feed requires staying on a job long enough to build credit buy a home for those little rascals to run through and hurt themselves causing more bills and stress.

WOULD QUIET QUITTING EXIST?

Probably.

But it wouldn’t catch critical mass — these days more like viral, hah-hah. You would hear about a few people doing it but now half the country does it.

Why? Less people going into debt. Overtime these days is practically non-existent unless its in healthcare and tech.

SAVING MORE

According to CNBC, June 26, 202 Sarah O’Brien by the Gen Z crowd saves 14% of income for retirement. All other generations save 12%. The post by O’Brien also adds, “Gen Z also has the highest share of savers, who feels they are getting it right, at 69%.”
