From individuals on the cover of Forbes or Entrepreneur magazines; to a musician accepting an award for selling a certain amount of units, a certain level of sales if required for notoriety. Without those sales, careers and jobs of those involved in the “ecosystem” would be, at least, on shaky grounds. Fortunes are made through those sales, which creates more taxes to be put back into maintaining the country, i.e senior programs, military budget, educational funding, etc.
