BACKGROUND CHECKS: EVERYBODY’S SILENT PARENT?

A true story.

A few months ago, I was in a store. A then employee, for the particular store, told me he was leaving the company because he got hired by a national retail chain. The person was excited about the new opportunity. Since word amongst store employees that he was a hard worker– and a reliable worker–I wished him the best.
